I splurged on this oak water rower and I'm pretty happy. The build quality is impressive—solid oak that looks beautiful in my home gym. The water resistance gives a realistic rowing feel, much smoother than my old magnetic rower. The S4 monitor is basic but shows distance and heart rate, which is all I need. Assembly was straightforward, though the unit is heavy (86 lbs package). My only gripe: the seat could be more padded for longer sessions. At over $2,100, it's an investment, but for craftsmanship and performance, it delivers.
